株式会社ソフトカルチャー(英文社名: SoftCulture Inc.) は、2006年9月、 ソフトウェアの制作やシステム導入のコンサルティング を行う会社として設立しました。

"SoftCulture" は agriculture(農業）から採りました。 農業において畑（agri)を深く耕す(cultivate=>culture) ように、software を耕し、豊かな実りをもたらしたい という思いからです。

また "SoftCulture" の中には culture （文化）という文字が あります。私は、ソフトウェア制作をめぐる文化 （業界の慣行）を変革したいという気持ちも込めています。

私は海外在住が長かったために、各国の 文化的な違いというものに深い関心を持ってきました。 近年、国際的なソフトウェア開発プロジェクトも増えてきている中、 文化的な摩擦を乗り越えて、ソフトカルチャーは一つのものを作り上げて いきます。

ソフトウェアは人が作り、人に奉仕するものです。 優れた技術を持つだけでなく、人を大切にし育てる会社にします。

"SoftCulture" comes from "agriculture". Just as agriculture means "cultivating ari(fields)", we would like to cultivate software and bring a rich harvest.

Moreover, "SoftCulture" has the word "culture" inside. We will also revolutionize the culture over the software industry in Japan.

I have lived abroad for many years and have been deeply interested in cultural differences. The number of international projects are increasing and SoftCulture will create a new world by overcoming cultural gaps.
